Bucketing Respondents into Personas Using Multiple Questions | XM Community
Skip to main content

Hi there,

I have a set of 5 questions that depending on how you answer them, should bucket the respondent into a persona type.

The way this is intended to work is that for each question answered they get a “point” for the persona type associated with that question

Example:

Q1. What is your favorite color?

  1. Blue (Persona A)
  2. Green (Persona B)
  3. Red (Persona C)

Q2. What is your favorite animal?

  1. Dogs (Persona C)
  2. Cats (Persona A)
  3. Fish (Persona B)

etc

If a person answered the question with a choice associated with Persona A, 3 out of 5 times, I would want to flag them as Persona A in the dataset.

I’ve been using Qualtrics for awhile and I’m not sure how to accomplish this. Appreciate any insight or help you can provide.

Hi @notnathan ,

Yo can use Scoring functionality for this purpose.
