Can I upload segmentation classification as a new variable?

I have a segmentation typing tool that I will use to classify each survey response with a segment classification. My plan is to use the batch classification of my typing tool to identify each segment based on my survey data, then upload the new segmentation variable to my dataset in qualtrics. Am I thinking about this the right way? I have zero experience coding so that is not really a feasible solution for me. Thanks!

    Use Math operation and branch logic in the survey flow for segmentation.

      I believe you want to use external tool/method for segment assignment variable based on your survey data. Post that you want to upload this segment assigned variables back to the main dataset on qualtrics.

      This can be possible you you have to be very care, You will have to use respondent ID as a key identifier while uploading the data.
