can you capture network id when user is connected to network or vpn?

Can the user idea be captured in the background? Thus eliminating the need of asking the user for their id on surveys. Most of the time we require this data point anyway.

Yes, if you include it in the directory upload of the contact list you are using, you can embed the data in the survey flow section. Make sure you use a directory when you distribute the email. The information is captured - no need to ask.

Follow up .... but can we use this if we are not using a contact list? We just send the link to our internal email groups but don't create a contact list.
If they're on the VPN / network, can't we read their network Id? Everyone else does (Google, NSA, Facebook) etc.
Also, how many emails can you included in a List?
