Code to display a scrollable pdf text (saved in the library) in the survey

Hello, I am trying to insert a pdf that participants can scroll through within the survey window without opening a new page. I am adding the saved pdf from the Qualtrics library. But every time I insert the document it creates a hyperlink, which when clicked (during the preview) opens in another window. Does anyone have a code to open the pdf on the same page? I have a 10 minute timer going on on the same page for reading time. Based on the response to another similar question posted here, I created a github and tried to insert the pdf from there using the iFrame, but for some reason the Github is unable to connect to my Qualtrics (possible firewall issues I guess). Any potential solutions for inserting scrollable pdf without sending participant to another page will be extremely helpful!
