Conflict with survey option "Allow respondents to complete later"

Dear Community,
We have a survey in which respondents have to participate several times and which is very complex (branches) as well as very long. Sometimes respondents also have to interrupt the survey to research information. Through the survey option "Allow respondents to complete later", this is possible through an appropriate cookie. In the case of incorrect entries, however, this means that it is not possible to go back and the survey must first be completed in order to start a new survey. It would therefore be desirable to have a function that deletes the cookie in the cache despite activated "caching" and enables the questionnaire to be reloaded. Does Qualtrics already have a solution or a workaround for this?
