Dyadic study - matching anonymized data

Dear Community,
I am conducting a dyadic study with managers and their employees. Does anyone know a solution to link the manager's answers with the data of their employees without severely restricting anonymity?
I thought of some kind of individual ID or maybe anonymous link. I need to associate the data of each manager and their employees for my dyadic research (perception of the relationship from both perspectives) so I'd need to retrace which responses belong together without knowing who they came from.
I only know of the possibility to create a code (first letter of the company, first letter of the department, team name, managerial responsibility etc.) but this would restrict the anonymity in my opinion - especially for the managers...
