I’ve got several surveys that are similar, but the title of each survey is different. I’m trying to see if I can embed the title of the survey in the thank you message so I don’t have to create one for each survey. The message would only be different in mentioning which survey they completed.

Sure, you can include the survey title in the thank you message. Qualtrics piped text capability can be used to accomplish this. You can dynamically pull in data by inserting "piped text" into messages. and you can utilize the same Thank you message for various surveys.

I figured it was there somewhere, but I can’t tell which selection will generate the survey title. Do you happen to know what it’s called or which section it’s under?

Sure, Here are the steps:

 

  • First, create a field for the title as shown below.
  • In the survey builder, scroll to the bottom and select End of Survey.
  • Click the dropdown menu under Messaging on the left.
  • Choose Custom. After adding the desired message, pipe text should be added to the title area.


 

  • Enter a description for your message and save 
  • You may use the message template for other surveys as well, but as the first screenshot illustrates, you must remember to include the embedded data in the survey flow for each survey.
