Hi Qualtrics Community,

I'm reaching out to seek some guidance on an issue we're facing with our Embedded App Feedback intercept integration.

We recently followed the advice from Qualtrics Support to pass the user's External Data Reference in the initializeProject code. The connection with the Directory was successfully established, but we are still encountering problems with populating the XM Directory Contact data in the responses.

Here's the specific code line we used for initialization:

Qualtrics.shared.initializeProject(brandId: "xxx", projectId: "xxxxx", extRefId: "xxx")

While this setup successfully links the ExtRefId with the Directory, we notice that the responses do not reflect the XM Directory Contact Data as expected. Are there any additional steps or configurations that we might be missing to ensure the data is correctly populated in the responses?

Also, you can help me...maybe. You mentioned “the connection with the directory was successfully established.” How do you know that?

The support article then says “...embedded data for users will automatically be added to their survey response….” I don’t find this is the case.
