Anyone have any tips or tricks on how to find profanity in Qualtrics survey open text data? My employer runs surveys with open ended comment items containing hundreds, sometimes thousands, of text comments that are then shared back with the client. Looking for a way to quickly flag survey cases that may contain any profanity so that it can be removed or redacted before exporting or reporting back to external report / dashboard users.

Have you explored Sensitive Data Policy (qualtrics.com).

Or creating a topic in Text Iq with certain words.

Hope it helps!

@surveyguy, You can use the TextiQ feature in the Survey Flow to create topics based on certain words which define the comment to be flagged and then assign a embedded data to flag it in the data set.

This should work.

@surveyguy,

If you are interested, I have a JS function that replaces offensive words when the Next button is clicked: bleeper

In the survey. Offensive words are never saved.
