HIPAA compliance with free version

No, HIPAA compliance doesn’t comes in free version of Qualtrics surveys. Qualtrics is typically offering this as an additional service and may involve separate costs or subscription plans

I’m sorry I forgot to reply to this earlier. I eventually contacted Qualtrics’s customer support directly and they were very insistent that their free version is HIPAA compliant.

@Lzahedi whilst HIPAA isn’t a requirement for me locally, we have other requirements to adhere to.  So it is worth considering whilst Qualtrics may have the functionality to be compliant, you likely need to still consider the set up and how you use the platform to maintain compliance.  Given broad user base of Qualtrics, there is a lot of features for different use cases and we can’t enable certain things to maintain compliance to our local data requirements.
