I've have been searching and researching for an answer to my situation:
I have a multiple choice question with 4 options. I want to ensure the user cannot select more than 2 options. In earlier versions of Qualtrics, I was able to set the maximum number of options easily, now that option is non existent, so I believe since I can't find it.
I need to use custom validation to set a number limit for each choice, min of 5 and max of 8. as shown below. But, if a person has 3 8's I want to limit their total choices to only 2 and not submit all 3 answers even though they are the high choices.
I would very much appreciate someone offering a feasible answer. My research keeps finding the "old" way but not how to do it in this current version.

I answered my own question, I realized I used a "form" question and not a multiple choice, all is good.
