I have two versions of instructions in my survey, which are randomly distributed. However, the report doesn't tell me which version of the instructions was shown per submission. How can I tell Qualtrics to record this information?

How to record randomized descriptive text?
In the export options, you can select export randomization order. When you download the data, you'll have a block which mention this.
To identify the variable, click on show flow ids in the survey flow editor.
Thanks! In the meantime, a friend had me change the "descriptive text" to an "multiple choice" type with the only "answer" as "Ok, I understand these instructions". and then it was showing up on the export without any extra steps.
