HUD income thresholds | XM Community

I’m developing a survey that, among other things, aims to understand family income levels. Respondents are all over the country and we are using the HUD income levels. The HUD public housing program uses a combination of geography (housing authority) and household size to determine the thresholds for very low, low, and medium income. So for example, in the Boston area, a 2-person household is considered “very low income” if the household income is less than $65,300 / year; > $65,300 / < $104,200 is considered “low income”; and > $104,200 / < $130,600 is considered medium (again, all for a 2-person household). There are different thresholds for 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 person households, and for each geography (there are 39 different geographies in my survey). Rather than creating 39 * 7 = 273 different questions with varying income thresholds and using display logic, is there a way to upload the thresholds and use some kind of logic to pull them into the answer choices?

@elenthe You can use Supplemental Data to store the combinations and answer range. Then with the Geo info and number of person (you should combine them to in a syntax of your own) to search for the 3 answers. Save it in Embedded Data and Pipe-text in your question.
