Hello,

I have a study where participants see a randomized series of images. When I preview the study, they are slow to load. I tried using the code mentioned in a response to this post, but it did not resolve the issue. I have 49 images, which might be why that code didn’t work for me. Because the images are randomized and the participants should be able to see them in any order, I can’t break the images into smaller sections and use the code to load the cache intermittently. Participants can look at the images for as long as they want. Any advice? Thanks!

You might start with the images themselves. First, make sure they are no larger than the maximum size they will be ever displayed. That may greatly reduce the file size and time to load. After they are sized appropriately, make sure they are optimized. There are many online tools to do this that will reduce the file size 70-80% with no noticeable difference.
