Input and output discrepancy?

In my current survey I've used an 8-item scale. Each question has 4 alternatives, i.e. a nummeric export provides answers 1-4. However, two of the questions give me repeated output of "5"? How can this be? (...and no, I have not changed or updated the survey).

Hi vidartop, check your recode values as that might be what is causing the problem. On the left-hand side of the question under Question Behaviour you can select Recode Values. Sometimes the automatic assignment by Qualtrics gets out of whack but you can tick Recode Values in the pop up and then change the output for each one to whatever you want :)
