Hi everyone,
Rather than having participants list their thoughts (which would already create multiple separate fields), I’d like participants to provide paragraph response. Would it be possible for Qualtrics to then automatically separate these paragraphs by individual sentences in order for participants to rate the valence of those responses later in the survey? Thanks!

Qualtrics does not have this as native functionality, but you can create a text entry-essay question and then split the paragraphs into sentences via JavaScript and then push those sentences into embedded data's. Later in survey you can use these embedded data’s to rate the valence of those responses.
