We have created shortened anonymous survey links using sites like Bit.ly, but is there an easy way to create shortened personalized links within Qualtrics, rather than a 3rd party site? We’re hoping to place shortened personalized links in text messages, rather than a very long survey link due to character limitations with SMS.

This can be done within Qualtrics if your account has the SMS Distributions add-on feature. Otherwise, I’m not aware of any way to shorten survey URLs within Qualtrics for this purpose.

The SMS distribution option only helps if you actually distribute directly via Qualtrics, right? We generate links via API and embed them in our SMS template within our internal marketing system.

Correct, I was referring to the SMS distributions made through Qualtrics.
