Loop and merge based on numerical answer

I have a numerical question that asks how many peer-reviewed articles faculty have published during the year.

Is it possible to generate a follow-up question that will display the number of times selected in the first question?

For example, if a Faculty responded that they published 2 articles, I would like to display 2 text questions to ask for the citation for each article.
