Merging two Matrix Questions in the Survey and in the Data

Hi everyone,
Qualtrics.jpgIf you see this image, there are two separate blocks of matrix items. I just want the items in a single block. But since I have already started collecting data in this survey, I can’t just add items to one of the blocks—I want to actually move the items and the data associated with them. How would I go about doing this? I found this support article, but the article says that method can't be used with matrix items https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/data-and-analysis-module/data/add-new-fields/combining-fields/.
