I have an email Email Distribution se up with multiple completes. The survey is also set to record after 24 hours for unfinished completes.
It works just fine, but if a respondent keeps the survey open on their browser for a few hours, it refreshes to start a new survey.
I’d like a respondent to be able to start the survey in the morning, keep the window open, and complete the survey at the day's end. Is there a way to do this?
Hi uppaway,
So multiple complete links are used so a respondent can answer a single survey multiple times.
From what you have stated above it seems like you want your respondents to complete the single survey only once but after a gap of some time. So in this case you should use the Individual Link.
In this link type the respondents progress is stored so whenever the respondent comes back they will start the survey where they left off.
Any web page if you leave for some time on browser unattended it will most likely be thrown out of memory after some time if not being used. Same happens with the surveys and when you try to go back to that tab the survey link is hit again. Multiple complete links do not save progress of the respondents, hence when respondents who hit the link again end up having the survey start again from the start.
