Need to restrict specific domains from receiving specific surveys | XM Community

I am unable to figure out if this is possible. I am looking to restrict domains from my organization from receiving out client feedback surveys within the system. Sometimes when we pull data our employees emails get mixed in. We do not have this process automated yet and unfortunately because of that there is some human error. Not everyone from our company gets removed and they receive surveys they should not be completing. I wanted to see if there was a way to put up a block within the Qualtrics system to help eliminate the human error.

 

I have looked in the surveys themselves and the distribution list/distribution list setting and cannot find anything that would work for restricting specific email domains from receiving specific surveys.   

I don’t know if this is possible to do at the user level in an automated manner. What I would suggest is to try one or both of the following:

  • Contact Qualtrics support and ask if they can implement some sort of block in your brand to prevent invites from being sent to addresses in your organization’s domain(s). As much as this happens unintentionally in my own organization’s experience, it seems possible that Qualtrics could enable this upon request.
  • When you and/or your users create an email list, add an extra step to the process and create a “sample” that excludes emails containing your organization’s domain(s), as shown in this screen shot.
