Only the second part of an exam is coming through and notifications not coming through for one survey | XM Community

We received notification from an instructor who is only receiving the second half of an exam for our Spanish/English translation program and not the first part. There is also another application/survey for our interpretation program that is supposed to be going to two specific persons but it isn’t. 

I'm pretty new to qualtrics and the survey was set up by someone who is no longer in our department. If someone could provide some guidance that would be wonderful. Thank you.

Please check how the survey has been set up. If display logic has been used to show the survey based on any Embedded Data, then you need to make sure that the Embedded Data has the required value before distributing the survey. If possible, please share some screenshots of your survey flow and survey so I can review them and suggest you better.

Thank you so much for your very prompt and helpful reply. I apologize for the delayed response. I have been checking into some more of the specifics of the issue to ensure that when I submit a reply with screenshots and further details, that they accurately reflect the situation. We are also checking with our instructor to see if some of the applicants might be skipping the first part, that isn’t coming through.  I also checked to make sure that the necessary e-mails were listed in the workflow. I also tried checking one of the boxes that was previously unchecked to see if that can help and that is the box titled “Show Full Question Text” in the Options section of the Email workflow.  I have pasted a screenshot below:

Since we made this change yesterday, the instructor said she is now getting both parts most of the time but there are a still a couple applications where she did not receive both parts. Therefore, she is checking with the students to see if they are just skipping part one. Hopefully that is all that is happening. Meanwhile, if you want to provide some feedback on our workflow above, please feel free. We hope the issue has been resolved but if it hasn’t I will let you know and provide the necessary details.  Thank you.

I’m sorry I didn’t address my message above to you. I apologize for the late reply.  Please feel free to take a look and provide me with any feedback you have.  I also have some more information and screenshots to provide of the workflows for each survey.  The instructor says that sometimes she receives Part 1 of the application survey from respondents and sometimes she doesn’t. Part 1 of the survey is comprised of a questionnaire and a spot for uploading a resume/CV.  Part 2 is an exam that is linked to the survey.  As of late, the instructor has been receiving both parts more often but there are some instances where she only receives part 2. It’s possible that this could be a website related issue but just in case it isn’t, I wanted to share this information as well as more screenshots.

The e-mail portion is set up exactly as the one for the translation certificate above, except it has two recipients.
