I have a list of 39 questions with the same question format, asking participants "to what extent do you agree with each statement". Each participant should answer ALL 39 questions once. However, it will be too long if I administer them in one matrix question. Is there a way for me to automatically break it into 3 blocks - 1 Matrix Question with randomized question statements from the 39 item pool? I have explored the block randomization reccommendation as stricctly there is only 1 matrix question in each block with randomized 13 statements. Therefore, it does not work.I’d appreciate any help from the community. Thanks!

Have you considered keeping them all in 1 block and repeating the headers, that way it visually breaks it up. You can also use the “highlight” feature to help keep the next row in vision easier
