I have had a request from a customer to see if it is possible to code a self-grading exam within Qualtrics. I know there isn't any built-in function that can do this with our licensed version (CoreXM) but I'm checking here to see if anyone has done this by writing custom code or a Javascript.

Gosh, do I feel stupid! I'd never used the "Scoring" option of Qualtrics before, and it took less than five minutes to go from nothing to a full-on self-graded survey.
