Sending workflow email after period of time according to survey input

Trying to find out if there is a way to set up a workflow to send an email a few months after a date specified in the response of the survey. The survey has a “date” field that respondents fill out, but this date may be different than the date in which the survey response is recorded (i.e., the date that triggers the workflow). Would it be possible to have the email task send an email at, say, one month after the date entered in the survey instead of the date of the response was completed? Or would this be impossible considering the date of survey response triggers the workflow in the first place? Thanks!
