Shortened personalised survey links for email distribution | XM Community

Is there a way to shorten the personalised survey links generated by Qualtrics, within the Qualtrics platform?

I’ve used Bitly to shorten anonymous survey links previously, however, my current survey needs to be distributed to email addresses using personalised links via a recurring workflow within Qualtrics. So, I’m not sure how I could shorten these personalised links using a 3rd party provider like Bitly as the personalised links are auto-generated by Qualtrics at the time each email is sent.

You can just embed them in invitation emails as a hyperlink with whatever text you want it to look like. A much more user-friendly/cleen look that displaying the actual link URL.

Thanks @InessaG, I’ve done this but also want to give participants the option of pasting the URL into their browser in case their email provider blocks hyperlinks. For example:

“Please see here note: ‘here’ will be hyperlinked] to find out more about the study. Or, paste this URL in your browser: URL]”

I may be wrong, but I don’t find this to be a problem if you are actively managing your email domain’s reputation and invitation content to avoid being marked as spam. Typically, email providers block hyperlinks only for suspected spam.

I haven’t provided a URL for pasting in browser in many years.

We dont have any option in Qualtrics to shorten the individual link, you might have to use third party short links for each personal link and than pipe same in email.
