You can adjust the spacing between rows in a Likert scale matrix table in Qualtrics using a combination of Look & Feel and Question Settings.

Adjusting Row Spacing

1. Survey-Wide Setting (Look & Feel):

   • Navigate to the Look and Feel menu.

   • In the Style section, set Question Spacing to Compact. This globally reduces the space between all questions, including the rows within your matrix table.

2. Question-Specific Setting (Matrix Table):

   • Go to the settings for your specific matrix table question.

   • To minimize space and keep the matrix concise, ensure the Add whitespace option is deselected.

   • To increase space for better readability, enable the Add whitespace option.

These steps allow you to control the vertical space, both across the entire survey and specifically within the matrix table rows.
