Is it possible to store embedded data uploaded via a contact list separate to the respondent’s survey responses?
I have a survey that we intend to distribute via a contact list uploaded to Qualtrics. In that contact list we will have several embedded data fields.
Some of those embedded data fields are fine to be recorded with the respondent’s survey answers as they won’t allow the respondent to be identified. These are needed for piped text, survey branching in the survey flow, and to analyse survey results.
Other embedded data fields are only needed to determine if our survey responses match our population. E.g., our population is made up of 33% males, 33% females, 33% other...do our survey respondents match this gender distribution?
However, the second set of embedded data fields would mean we can identify the survey respondent and we want the survey to be anonymous.
Is there a way to record the first set of embedded data fields with the survey responses, but not record the second set of embedded data with the survey responses? Perhaps using embedded data for the second set of fields is not the best way to capture this data??
Thanks.
