Survey does not save when browser is closed, how can I make it save progress?

Our survey is a part of a study where we use the Amazon Fire tablet's default browser (Amazon Silk) to administer the survey on the Qualtrics website. Recently we have had an issue where people accidentally press the home button, then are unable to continue the survey. We are unsure as to why this is happening and are wondering if there is a specific way to make sure people can resume taking the survey after they close the browser. We are also wondering if this is an issue related to Qualtrics or to the Amazon tablet and browser.

    Have you turned on 'Allow respondents to finish later' under Options -> Responses?
