Hi everyone,

I wanted to check if anyone has experienced an issue where survey invitation emails sent to a specific provider (such as Gmail) are consistently bouncing, with the bounce reason indicating that the emails are being flagged as spam.

If you’ve encountered this before, could you share how you investigated and resolved it? Any best practices around improving deliverability in such cases would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

If you’re using Qualtrics servers for your distributions, that shouldn’t happen and I would definitely contact support if it is the case.

If you’re using a custom domain or a smtp relay for your distributions, it could be misconfigured SPF/DKIM/DMARC or DNS, exceeding the span complaint rate, bad contact list hygiene, spikes in volume, using a new or cold domain, etc.

You can use https://mxtoolbox.com/ for a quick domain diagnostic and google postmaster tools to check your compliance status.
