Trying to figure how to use other survey data into a new survey

Here it goes -
I have a survey for people to register for a session. I check that data frequently and make sure that there are no duplicates etc. They also select which session to go. Now The first session has occurred and I want to send out a survey asking for their feedback. So on a new survey, I said. Thank you for coming to the [title] session, on [date]. we would like to hear your feedback etc......
I created a directory with a new group who attended the session with some extra information (like course name and date). I want to pull that from that contact list. Because I have 20 sessions to go and I will add more attendees to the list.
How do I go with that? I would like it to be more personalized - specific title and date.
Any tips would be appreciated.

It sounds like you plan to email survey invites to the people you added to a mailing list in your directory. All you have to do is pipe your embedded data fields (e.g., ${e://Field/courseTitle}, ${e://Field/courseDate}) into the text of your email invite.
