I’m attempting to setup a workflow task for a survey that will execute on each survey response being received. The task is using the `Load data into SFTP` extension made by Qualtrics (version 0.0.23)

The steps I take are:

  1. Click Add task from the workflow editor
  2. Select ‘Load data into SFTP’ extension
  3. Click ‘Add a user account’
  4. Fill in the following fields:
    1. Name
    2. Hostname
    3. Port (leave as 22)
    4. Authentication Method (SSH Key)
    5. Username
    6. Generate SSH keypair
  5. Click ‘Connect Account’
  6. Go back to the ‘Load data into SFTP’ extension page and see the new user pre-selected as the user account. Click ‘Next’

At this point there are no errors but the page simply refreshes and the new user account that was just created is gone. Can you please advise on how I can go about troubleshooting this? Are there any logs that can be used to see what may be going wrong?

I have validated that the hostname is accessible via port 22. I’ve also tried removing all special characters from name and username

Thanks!

I was also attempting to create a workflow that exports results into CSV format and into a Box folder. I was unable to create a successful connection using the ‘Password’ method.

How have others successfully exported Qualtrics survey results (in CSV format) using the FTP extension in Qualtrics?

Here is the error that I received:
Error: Could not establish TCP connection, failed Dial: failed to create ssh client (connect to ssh) for initial session: dial tcp 74.112.187.193:22: i/o timeout
Code: ER_0107
Request ID: 40baffc4-c9fe-47dd-9551-c6f222d2f87f
Resolution: Ensure that your SFTP server is available and accessible, and that the appropriate Qualtrics IP addresses are allowlisted: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/getting-started-qualtrics/allowlisting-external-domains-for-qualtrics-use/#AllowlistQualtricsServers

Thank you.
