Using SSO but with someone outside of our School District group? | XM Community

I was looking through the Qualtrics help and wasn’t landing with this one and my tech team member who would work through this with me is out the rest of the week so I’m hoping someone here can help me get back on track!

I’m with a school district and we now use SSO.  We all have the same email domain.  We have community members that are part of different boards/committees and their email addresses are all sorts of different domains.

When we assign them by their email and assign a password, they keep getting an error message when trying to log in.  I can only assume it’s because we have gone SSO now?

Is there a work around to have these users also gain access to what we are trying to provide them?

Thanks for any insight!

@MeganZich If you want people outside your organization to log in you’ll need to allow them a non-SSO login. You can direct them to qualtrics.com/login and have them use the credentials you’ve assigned in admin.

In your SSO settings, you’ll need to enable “Qualtrics Login” in addition to your SSO.

Amazing!  Our tech team set it up for us, so I didn’t even know that was an option.  Thanks for the quick response, I appreciate it!
