Accessibility - Adding Alt-Text to a Dynamic Theme

Currently there is no simple way through the admin interface to add alt text to a logo banner under the Themes tab. If you add an image from your Image Gallery that has a description, that description does not get assigned to the alt attribute for your new banner image.

However, you can use Javascript to add an alt attribute to that image element. Under “General” settings for your theme, select the “edit” button underneath the “Footer” text field. Then select the “Source” button in the rich text editor. Paste the following snippet of code, then save.
