Add button to return to block

There are 4 modules in my survey.  The user chooses their moduIe from the landing page. It is likely that different users will complete different modules and in no particular order.  Users can also break-off within a module and come back to complete it later.  I would like a button at the end of each page that allows the user to return to the landing page and select a new module.  I don't see the option to add a shape but did try using a hot spot, but skip logic only allows the user to move forward.
I would also like to add a message to the landing page indicating whether a module has been started or is complete, but I may need a new post for that.
