Carry forward only the not empty text entry

Hi, I would like to carry forward text entry from a form. Participants have the option to fill out 1 to 5 items on the form. For a subsequent question, I would like them to rank their entries. However, when I carry forward entered choices, all 5 show up regardless whether the participants filled all 5 of them. Is there any way I can only carry forward with the entered ones?

    I would like to do the same thing.
    image.pngimage.pngBut when test the survey — all labels are carried forward regardless of whether they were empty or not (I left the last two blank and the label was carried foward):

    Oh, I see:
    image.pngYou have the option to only carry forward entered text...
