Creating new statistic - Relative Standard Deviation | XM Community
Skip to main content

RSD (mean/stdev) is important to my analysis. I use it to measure the overall respondent population alignment around the answer choices in a survey.
Is there a way to have qualtrics generate this automatically?
I have investigated survey flow embedded data and creating new fields, but no luck so far.
Currently, I am downloading the survey results and calculating it in Excel.
Thanks,
Scott

Hi Phillsh - if you have not yet already, we'd recommend taking a look at this support page about Statistics Table Visualizations in Results-Reports. If you have any follow up questions, please be sure to reach out to our Support team, as they are best equipped to help!

Amara,

I did review this support page and did also contact the Support Team. But neither seemed to provide specific help regarding RSD.

Are you familiar with the Relative Standard Deviation calculation and have you you seen it calculated in Qualtrics?

Thanks,

Scott

Its not part of the standard statsiQ stuff, but you could just write an R code for that inside Qualtrics.

I do not know how to do that, Is there help available?
