Hi everyone,

I'm a current MSc student designing a daily diary study for his dissertation.

This will involve participants repeating a morning and evening survey for 5 consecutive days.
Setup so far is the following:

  1. Initial baseline survey

  2. Morning survey (repeated 5 times)

  3. Evening survey (repeated 5 times)

Although I've used Qualtrics before, I havent designed this specific type of research.
For my study, advertisment will be through an editorial, where participants will follow a link to my projects information screen. Here they will agree to the project and then enter their email which will then populate my contact list.
Basically I'm just a little confused with how to setup the various actions in each survey so that each participant is sent the morning/evening surveys 5 times and that the data is not overwritten each time they do.
Read several posts regarding this type of design but would really appreciate if someone could send an outline of each step I need to do to achieve this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Lburton,
I haven't run a survey designed like this myself, but to address the concern about overwriting the responses on the morning and evening surveys (or really, allowing them to be completed more than once at all by each participant), you may want to use the Multiple Completes link type in your distribution.
