Data Protection for Switzerland

Hi all, I have a question from our client in Switzerland about Data protection. I am aware of the GDPR and CCPA regulation, and I've read (https://www.qualtrics.com/uk/platform/gdpr/ and https://www.qualtrics.com/gdpr/) that there is something about being "Swiss-US Privacy Shield Certified", but I am not sure what does that really mean... In addition, neither of those policies apply to Switzerland, since is not EU. Do any of you have any experience on this topic or can help me to find the specific information for Switzerland? One of the main concern seems to be the physical location of the servers... Thank you. Best Michele
