Display previous answers

We're using a Loop and Merge to determine the types of assessments instructors use in their courses. They will answer 9 questions for each assessment (all drill down, drop down, or short text response), all in one block with no breaks. Many of their responses will be similar so we want them to be able to see what they've entered for previous assessments as a guide. Is there a way to display their previous responses as they move to through each loop?
I'm picturing them stacking in an almost spreadsheet-like format above the questions they're answering. I'll take any solution that gives accomplishes the same purpose.
