Formatting scale points in a matrix table

Hello, I am interested in freezing the scale points (like in an Excel table) so the scale holds steady while the respondent scrolls through items, or figuring out how to bold the scale items to make them more visible (and I'll repeat them throughout). Can anyone advise if either of these options are possible, and how to do it?
