Generating a random alphanumeric string

My first question in this forum.
As per title, I was wondering if there is a way to generate a random alphanumeric string in the same way you can generate a random number as described here, in the random number generator section.

There isn't a built-in way to do this in Qualtrics. You would have to use JavaScript or a web service to do it.
