How can I ensure that the text included in the "hover text" will be translated?
The text within the quotations doesn't show up for translation, only what is written in scale choice: <span title="Hover text for detailed description of this choice">Scale choice</span>

@strategy in this case click on the option on the translation side, select Rich content editor and then open the text in the HTML view <>. This way you will see the original text of the tooltip
+23@strategy do you import the translation or do it in the translation tab question after question? It surely should be visible when you export the translation.
Translation is done in the tab question after question. When I reviewed the question, only the text inserted into the "scale choice" part of the formula is visible.
