How could you add percentile to a report relative to other respondents?

Hi! I'm looking at adding a percentile to a final score report relative to other respondents, something to the tune of "You scored 18 out of 30 points. Your score is in the 60th percentile relative to other respondents."
I tried looking up in Community questions if anyone had asked this before, but the only relevant question I could find was this one: https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/5526/how-to-add-percentile-to-a-report
The answer given there was you need to export the scores and calculate that yourself, but how exactly do you do that? Is there any other way?
Sorry I'm a bit of newbie, so any help would be appreciated!

You can create an external web services to store the scores of all respondent and calculate the percentile and display it to respondent.
