How do I add acceptable range validation in a side-by-side question type?
I am trying to add acceptable ranges for weight loss at certain ages to be between 0 and 999. They should be allowed to skip the question without answering any rows but if they put a number in they should not be allowed to pass if it is not between 0 and 999. Please see example of question.

I would think that it is not possible to do so (numerical validation in a Open Text format in a range) and you may read more here (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/editing-questions/question-types-guide/standard-content/side-by-side/#OpenEndedTextColumns).
Alternatively, what I would suggest to work on a different type of question apart from side by side, then you will be able to set the numerical validation that you are currently looking for.
