How to remove data on the fly

Hi,
In a survey I have a question whereby I ask Ps to provide an email address. This is used to email them automatically - via a Trigger - a random number.
However, I would like their email not to be saved in my data, and ideally this should happen automatically rather than me deleting this column after I collected the data.
Any ideas on how I can approach this?

    You would have to change the method used to email them to a web service or ajax. Then you could use a non-Qualtrics input field to capture the email and never save it in your response data.
