Is there a way to consolidate write-in responses with selected responses directly?

For example: I have a question: What is your current MMS solution? – there was a drop down list of options, and one write-in option: ‘Other (please specify)’
Some of the write in responses in the Other (please specify) are actually available options that could have been selected from the drop down.
I’d like to go through all the Other (please specify) write-in’s and consolidate them with the drop down answers for that question. 
Can Qualtrics help me do this?

Hi wildapricot! There are a few ways you can do this both manually and automatically, depending on what you prefer. You should have the ability to manually edit your responses in the Data & Analysis tab, or we'd also recommend checking out the Text iQ option under the Data & Analysis tab.
