I have a questions about linking anonymous surveys. I have two surveys: Survey A is anonymous so people won't leave any identifiable information, Survey B is asking about their interest in survey studies, so participants will enter their email addresses.
I would like to link the email addresses to their responses in Survey A, so that I can know who's willing to be contacted for future studies and how to link their pretest with posttest.
I saw people were suggesting using contact list tigger; but the program is I do not ask their emails in the Survey A.... then how could I link the two surveys?

+22Generate a random number ID in survey A and ask respondent to remember it for survey B. Create a contact list trigger in survey A that will add a contact with number ID as external data reference.
In survey B, ask the respondent the number ID, if authenticated (authenticator will be on same contact list present in survey A contact list trigger) then continue with survey else terminate.
Now you can create a contact list trigger on new contact list where you can store the email address as well as number ID.
Note: In the place of contact list trigger, try to use action task -> add to xm directory.
