Matrix where each column requires top 3 response

Hi,
I have a question built problem that I can not resolve. See question below. Columns allow for three selects BY COLUMN. Anyone have any success setting this up? Thank you!
Please select the top 3 companies you trust the most/trust the lease.
Two columns 'Trust the most' 'Trust the least'
Company 1
Company 2
Company 3
Company 4...

Hi JAnn,
I might recommend a different approach than a matrix. I have used a drag and drop, which I think works well:
image.pngThough, because the question is on the scale, just different ends of the spectrum, I might instead make this a ranking question; those at the top would be the most trusted, those at the bottom would be the least trusted.
image.pngBut for ranking questions, you would need to keep the list to ten or fewer, as most people have a hard time ranking more items than that.
