PSA: Results Reporting Paginated Tables are NOT confidential | XM Community
Skip to main content
I came across this with my project today. Not sure how long this has been the case for. We use paginated tables with our results reports since it is really the only way to display qualitative data. Now, when you view the report their is a clipboard icon on the right side of the response. People viewing the report can click into this and see all of that participants responses and Embedded Data.

Does anyone know a workaround? We use Results reporting exclusively, so we now have no way of sharing Qualitative responses anonymously. I called Qualtrics but the issue is not being taken seriously.

This is a repeat of my posting because I accidentally posted it in StatsIQ Best Practices first. Mods, feel free to delete the one in StatsIQ
Hi @uhrxx005! It looks like you reached out to our Support Team, and the specialist was able to file a feature request on your behalf! I apologize for any inconveniences you may be experiencing at this point in time. If you are looking for an update, or have any additional questions, feel free to reach out to the specialist you previously worked with!
Thanks @LaurenK. Thank you for the update. I posted on here so others were aware of the issue and to see if anyone knows of a workaround since I don't know how long it will take for this feature request to be made.
What would happen if you set up an embedded data category after the question, and literally just piped in their response? Set that up as a table, and hide the "real" question. Would that give you the confidentiality you are seeking?
@Kate, I don't think that will fix the problem. Regardless of the Embedded Data, the reports are still allowing viewers to click into the text responses and see all other answers by that respondent. Our clients typically only like to see the aggregated results so we don't want them to be able to dive into the individual responses. The Embedded Data shows up alongside their answers to all of the questions, which makes things worse since the ED is often confidential and identifying.

Yikes. Sounds like it's time to migrate a new dashboard if you need this sooner than Qualtrics can implement.
